2. About NorthVault

NorthVault is a personal finance application designed to help users organise and review financial information, including:

• Assets and liabilities
• Financial goals

• Reports, trends, and insights

NorthVault is provided for personal information, record-keeping, and financial organisation purposes only.

3. Beta Software

NorthVault is currently offered as beta software.

As a beta product:

• Features may change without notice.
• Some functionality may be incomplete.
• Errors, bugs, crashes, or interruptions may occur.
• Data loss or unexpected behaviour may occur.
• Features available today may be modified, replaced, or removed in future versions.

You should maintain your own backups of important financial information and should not rely on beta software as your only record of financial data.

4. No Financial Advice

NorthVault does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice.

Any information, calculations, projections, reports, forecasts, summaries, or insights provided by NorthVault are for informational purposes only.

You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions and should seek professional advice where appropriate.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of information entered into the app.
• Reviewing reports, balances, calculations, and summaries before relying on them.
• Maintaining backups of your financial data where appropriate.
• Securing your device and access to the application.
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations.

NorthVault cannot independently verify the accuracy of information entered by users.

6. Data, Backups, and Availability

We aim to provide a reliable application experience; however, we do not guarantee that NorthVault will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device, operating system version, or future app version.

Service availability may be affected by software updates, operating system changes, maintenance, external platform issues, or technical matters beyond our control.

You are responsible for keeping backup copies of financial information that is important to you.

7. Future Features and Paid Services

NorthVault may introduce additional functionality in the future, including cloud synchronization, premium features, subscription services, investment analytics, market data integrations, connected account import, smarter insights, or other services.

Additional terms, disclosures, or privacy information may apply to future services. Any paid offering will be clearly disclosed before purchase.

8. Intellectual Property

NorthVault, including its software, design, branding, logos, graphics, screenshots, documentation, website content, and related materials, is owned by NorthVault or its respective rights holders and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from NorthVault except as permitted by law.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use NorthVault for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with the app, website, or related services.
• Circumvent security measures.
• Introduce malicious code or harmful content.
• Misrepresent ownership of NorthVault content or branding.

NorthVault may rely on external services and platforms where necessary to operate beta distribution, diagnostics, infrastructure, market data, or future connected features.

We are not responsible for external service interruptions, external terms, or external privacy practices. Your use of external services remains subject to their respective terms and policies.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NorthVault and its owners, developers, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or financial damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, NorthVault.

This includes, but is not limited to, losses arising from errors or inaccuracies in reports or calculations, loss of data, loss of profits, investment losses, business interruption, or reliance on information generated by the app.

Your use of NorthVault is at your own risk.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NorthVault, its owners, developers, contributors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the application, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable laws or regulations.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to NorthVault at any time, with or without notice, where necessary to protect the application, users, intellectual property, or service integrity.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, the “Last Updated” date will be revised.

Continued use of NorthVault after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia, Australia.
