NorthVault is a personal finance application designed to help users manage budgets, review financial activity, monitor wealth, and work toward financial goals.

NorthVault stores information that you choose to enter into the app, including:

This information is used to provide the app's budgeting, tracking, reporting and insight features.
Data storage
NorthVault is currently designed around local-first workflows. Financial information entered into the app is stored on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or use a feature that clearly involves synchronisation or external processing.
At this stage, NorthVault does not require a user account for core beta use.
Analytics and diagnostics
NorthVault may collect limited technical information to help improve stability and performance, such as app version, device type, operating system version, crash reports and performance diagnostics.
This technical information is not intended to include your financial transactions, account balances, budgets, goals or personal financial content.
Beta testing
If you participate in the NorthVault beta, the beta distribution platform may collect and provide feedback, crash reports and usage information according to its own policies.
External services
NorthVault may use external services that provide infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, market data or other supporting functionality. These providers may process limited technical information necessary to operate their services.
NorthVault does not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
